Number of H-1B Cap Subject Visa Petition Filings Remains Constant
In the past week, USCIS received an additional 900 H-1B cap subject petitions since the previous week, so that as of September 17, 2010, USCIS received a total of 38,300 H-1B cap subject petitions; an increase of an additional 100 petitions compared to the previous week. Filings against the 20,000 Master’s or higher cap continues at the same pace; this past week 300 petitions were received (the same number of petitions since the previous week), so the total has now reached 14,000 petitions.
