H-1B Filings continue at same pace
As of June 18, 2010, USCIS had received 22,900 H-1B cap subject petitions against the 65,000 cap. As for the 20,000 Master’s or higher cap, 9,700 petitions had been received. Thus in a one week span, USCIS received 700 new H-1B cap subject petitions, this is the same rate of filing as the previous two weeks. The number of petitions filed against the MS or higher cap also continues at about the same rate i.e.300 petitions per week.
