Greece added to Visa Waiver Program effective 04-05-2010
On 04-05-2010, citizens of Greece will participate in the Visa Waiver Program. This means that a citizen of Greece will be able to visit the United States for pleasure or business without first obtaining a visitor’s visa at a US Embassy/Consulate. After registering under ESTA, a Greek citizen will be able to board a flight to the United States provided he/she is in possession of a return ticket home and is able to convince the Customs and Border Protection Officer at the port of entry of the legitimate purpose of the visit.
